Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End is a Spanish zombie action thriller with Amazon Prime Video where phase of release in 2024 and directed by Carles Torrens, based on the book of Manel Loureiro. Whereupon we see Manel (Francisco Ortiz), sinking in a lawyer depression to isolated in Galicia with his cat Lúculo, since his spouse recently died. An all-global rabies/virus called the TSJ virus starts to wreak havoc, transforming humans into speedy and vicious “zombies” (minus the whole name thing) Manel’s pursuit of his family in the Canary Islands is what leads the story, melding survival, action and emotion.
