The Borderlands movie by Eli Roth hit the United States theaters on 9th August 2024. Being a live action interpretation of Gearbox Software’s popular game franchise, it had a cast of stars lined up as well as a huge amount of buzz. It was largely negatively received by critics as well as flopped at the box office. Lilith (Cate Blanchett), a tough bounty hunter with a dark history, returns to her home planet of Pandora. Lilith assembles a team of misfits, Roland (Kevin Hart), Krieg (Florian Munteanu), and Claptrap (voice of Jack Black), to travel to the strange planet and uncover a bigger conspiracy of the ancient technology of the Eridians.
