Set in Cape Town, South Africa, when the G20 summit is currently taking place, President Sutton who is an ex-Iraq War hero, is attempting to push a digital currency initiative that will help sub-Saharan farmers. The summit is hijacked by mercs, led by Edward Rutledge (Antony Starr), a disgruntled ex-Australian Special Forces operative. Rutledge’s intentions are to destabilize economies around the world by promoting cryptocurrency and leveraging deepfake videos to shape public sentiment. While things ensue in chaos, President Sutton has to revert back to their military training, to protect her family, rescue her fellow leaders, and stop Rutledge’s plan.
