The movie traces the story of Chris Lemons (played by Finn Cole), a saturation diver who becomes ensnared 300 feet beneath the North Sea after his umbilical line is severed during a routine pipeline maintenance task. With only ten minutes of urgent oxygen remaining and no means of communication, his colleagues Duncan Allcock (Woody Harrelson) and David Yuasa (Simu Liu) have no option but to act quickly to retrieve him in the stipulated time period, all the while grappling with a dysfunctional dynamic positioning system and the pressing challenges of the sea. Their strong-willed attitude along with the dangers of deep-sea diving is well depicted in this tale.
