Mickey 17 is a 2025 science fiction black comedy directed by Bong Joon Ho; it is based on the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The movie stars Robert Pattinson as Mickey Barnes, an “Expendable” on an assignment to colonize the icy world of Niflheim. Mickey is assigned with perilous missions, wherein every time he dies, his consciousness is transferred to a newly cloned body.
