Moana 2 starts a few years after the original film, with Moana responding to a new call from her ancestors—to voyage once more, but this time to find the lost island of Motufetu, a place that originally bound the tribes of Oceania together. Feeling the ancestor’s call, she recruits new friends, a shipbuilder, a historian, and a farmer, and of course, Heihei and Pua. Along the way they find Maui, and react to all kinds of wild adventures—including a showdown with an aggressive storm god named Nalo. This is a story about courage and admission and courage that teaches us about leadership, and how our past can help us navigate in the future—while we sail into the great unknown.
