Main plot, revolves around Helm Hammerhand the king of Rohan that accidentally starts a war with the Dunlendings by beheading their chieftain in duel. The action as the siege of Helm’s Deep (or the Hornburg) on Rohan, which will later be revealed as such in the film. Legacy, leadership and the price of war are just a few of the themes the film digs into.
