Until Dawn (2025) is a survival horror movie directed by David F. Sandberg, who also directed Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation. The movie is based on the 2015 video game by the same title, however, this film has a new story instead of directly following that of the game. This film keeps the spooky feeling and atmosphere of the game. In the story, we have Clover (Ella Rubin), who along with a group of friends goes to a remote valley to find out what happened to her sister Melanie (Maia Mitchell), who disappeared a year earlier. The group quickly gets themselves into quite a scary situation as they are put into a time loop, where every night they are faced with new and more terrifying threats. Their only hope for escape is for them to survive until dawn.
