Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024) is a new spy comedy-drama series streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Co-created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane, it re-imagines the 2005 movie of the same name and spotlights two estranged strangers who are recruited as undercover agents (posing as spouses).​ The series features John (Donald Glover) and Jane (Maya Erskine) – two people who agree to become secret agents for a nameless organization, accepting the moniker John and Jane Smith. As agents, John and Jane have to be undercover married people. Over eight episodes, John and Jane go on missions to various locations while their faux marriage blooms into a real relationship.
