When her father is scandalized out of the president spot of the LA Waves (a family-owned team) by The CW Ninjas, Isla Gordon takes over as president long distance. Isla has to earn the confidence of her brothers — the players who have allergic reactions to damsels in distress in sports — and the sports world at large that she can be a skilled sports negotiator. The series combines workplace comedy with family drama, based on actual life Jeanie Buss (President of the Los Angeles Lakers).
